Early Years

Made for Adventures

Picture

Mike began his musical endeavors in the small town Winslow, Arizona off Route 66.  There, he spent his childhood learning many different instruments in the music programs directed by his father, who was the band teacher for the school district.  After his 8th grade year, his family moved to Palm Springs, CA, where Mike had the opportunity to learn and play with some of the legendary musicians of the Big Band Era.  He began his own Jazz Combo and started making money playing at Country Clubs, Dance Halls, and Parties celebrating music from that era.
